The Pla i Llevant PDO includes the central and eastern areas of Mallorca, including towns such as Algaida, Manacor, Felanitx, Llucmajor, and many more. This land benefits from a Mediterranean climate that is perfect for winegrowing, with mild winters and warm summers that ensure optimum grape ripening conditions. The region’s chalky soil adds a distinct richness to the vines, enhancing the sophistication of its wines.
Pla i Llevant stands out for its diversity of grape varieties. The reds include Monastrell, Manto Negro and Cabernet Sauvignon, while the whites include Moll/Prensal Blanc, Chardonnay and Muscatel. Cultivation practices in the region combine tradition and modernity to achieve the best wine quality. Planting densities are adjusted according to the terrain and grape variety, ensuring the best harvest from each vine.
