Vins Miquel Gelabert: A Winery Creating Art from the Land
Since 1985, Vins Miquel Gelabert has been combining tradition with modernity to make artisan wine. With more than 30 grape varieties at its vineyards in Manacor, Felanitx and Petra, each year this winery produces 40,000 litres of red, white, rosé, sparkling and sweet wines under the DO Pla i Llevant label, distinguished for their quality and appreciated internationally.
In the heart of Manacor, Vins Miquel Gelabert has been perfecting the art of wine for almost four decades. The small, family-run winery pays close attention to every detail of the process: from hand-selecting grapes from all eleven vineyards, to ageing in an underground cellar dating from 1909. French and American oak barrels harbour the wines, achieving a special kind of fermentation with native yeasts.
With labels painted by artists, its wines truly reflect the winery’s creativity and passion. From native varieties to the experimental use of international grape varieties, Gelabert's philosophy is to offer wines with personality, backed by more than 150 awards.
At its tastings, the winery invites you to discover its range of wines paired with local products. From the robust red to the fresh white, each glass tells a story of innovation and respect for the Mallorcan land, proving it is worthy of the DO Pla i Llevant label.
