Elegance and Biodynamics with DO Pla i Llevant at Vins Toni Gelabert
Since 1979, Vins Toni Gelabert, a family-run winery located in Manacor, has been creating art from winegrowing. With 5 hectares of vineyards cultivated through biodynamic methods, this small winery produces reds, whites and rosés that exude the soul of the Pla i Llevant. Each glass, the result of great respect for the land, embodies the serenity of its surroundings and the insight of its creator.
Vins Toni Gelabert represents harmony between tradition and respect for nature. With trellis-trained vineyards and an average of 2–3 kilos of grapes per vine, production is geared towards quality, creating wines with personality. From complex reds such as ‘Vinya Son Fangos Negre’, to expressive whites such as ‘Ses Pereres’, each bottle is a tribute to balance.
The ageing process takes place in the historic Ses 3 Ermites winery, built in 1999 in a serene setting with plenty of light. The wine is aged in French and American oak barrels, combining the best modern techniques with the secrets of biodynamics.
The wine labels are designed by artists who are friends of the winery. These wines are famous among wine experts and have received international recognition. Vins Toni Gelabert not only makes wine, it creates experiences that tell the story of its land, its cycles and the dedication of its people, establishing itself as a leader within the DO Pla i Llevant label.
