Raima is known for Menorcan meat and sausages made with skill, respect and local ingredients. At their butcher’s shop in Ciutadella, they make sausages such sobrassada, cuixot, botifarró and carn-i-xulla using traditional methods and pork reared in Menorca. Along with farms such as Algaiarens, they also offer organic pasture-raised meat.
Every sausage by Raima tells a story of Menorca: sobrassada cured with paprika, cuixot cooked in its own skin with fennel, and botifarró with spices that awaken memories. They also make carn-i-xulla, a delicate sausage with lean meat and pepper, using traditional recipes.
Their commitment goes beyond flavour. They work with semi-free-range pigs and collaborate with farms such as Algaiarens to offer certified organic 'Vermella Menorquina' veal. These cuts are processed and packaged the same day, guaranteeing freshness and quality.
At Raima, Menorcan tradition and innovation come together in a culinary space where each product captures the island’s landscape, climate and culture. The whole process, from field to butchery, is designed to protect what matters: authenticity, local freshness, and a surviving tradition.
