Jaume de Puntiró is a family winery that has been producing exceptional wines for more than four decades in Santa Maria del Camí, an area with a deep-rooted winemaking tradition. The wine-related history of the Calafat y Vich family goes back to the early 19th century, with generations of small-scale farmers directly tending their vineyards using organic methods and following ancient customs.

Located in Plaza Nova in Santa Maria del Camí, the Jaume de Puntiró winery has converted an old agricultural storehouse into a modern space where wine is vinted, stored and aged. The winepress, originally made of rough stone and now of stainless steel, bears witness to how traditional techniques have evolved and adapted to meet today’s quality and sustainability standards. The Jaume de Puntiró vineyards occupy plains sheltered by the Tramuntana Mountains, offering perfect climate conditions for growing grapes.

With 17 ‘cuarteradas’ (an ancient Mallorcan measuring system) spread out over seven vineyards, the winery is devoted to producing wines that reflect the essence of the Mallorcan terroir, benefiting from the Binissalem DPO and the ‘Vi de la Terra Mallorca’ label. The winery also has a shop that sells not only its famous wines but also an assortment of local organic products, offering visitors an authentic food and wine experience.
