The new owners of this winery, which is over 20 years old, have breathed new life into it by combining traditional techniques with contemporary innovations. Mallorca’s chalky and clay-rich soils are perfect for growing Chardonnay and Malvasia grapes, achieving wines of the highest quality.
Just 1.5 km from Alaró, down the road of Carretera de Santa María, Bodega Oloron stands as living proof of Mallorca's rich winemaking history. The ancient walls of the winery, designed by renowned architect Llorenç Colom, are wedged between terraced vineyards and mountains, creating an idyllic landscape. The current owners have taken over with the firm promise to restore the winery to its original glory.
Faithful to traditional techniques, they have integrated contemporary methods to improve the vineyard’s capabilities. Careful, highly-selective manual harvesting ensures that only the best grapes are used to make the fine wines that have made this winery famous. These wines bear the ‘Vi de la Terra Mallorca’ quality seal.
On its 10 hectares of land, Bodega Oloron grows mainly Chardonnay and Malvasia grapes, benefiting from the particular warmth and colour of the Mallorcan soil.
