Bodegas José L. Ferrer, founded in 1931, is a benchmark in wine production in Binissalem. With over 85 years of history and four generations dedicated to winegrowing, this winery has successfully combined tradition with innovation. From its original cement tanks to the modern Veritas winery, every corner of José L. Ferrer tells a story of passion and dedication to wine.

José L. Ferrer winery has pioneered the production of wines in Mallorca since 1931. Founded by José L. Ferrer at the age of 28, this winery has introduced innovative techniques in the cultivation and production of wine.

The original winery still uses its old cement tanks and oak barrels, where the oldest wines are fermented and stored. Today, the winery is managed by José L. Roses and his sons, who continue the family tradition. They have modernised the facilities with state-of-the-art technology, without losing respect for the traditional techniques that have made their wines famous.

The vineyards of José L. Ferrer extend over 140 hectares in the heart of Mallorca. Here, native varieties such as Manto Negro and Callet thrive in the Mediterranean climate. Each bottle of wine reflects the unique terroir of Binissalem, with soils rich in iron and other micronutrients that enhance the quality of the grapes. At José L. Ferrer winery, each generation has left its mark, from the construction of the winery in 1931 to the latest extension in 2016.

Through a combination of tradition and innovation, this winery makes wines that are internationally acclaimed, filling every glass with the flavour of Mallorca. These wines belong to the Protected Designation of Origin ‘Binissalem’, ‘Vi de la Terra Illes Balears’, and ‘Vi de la Terra Mallorca’.
