The Social Soul of Gallinas & Focas Wine
Gallinas & Focas is much more than just a wine with the Vi de la Terra Mallorca geographical indication. This collaboration between 4Kilos Vinícola and the Esment association seeks to recover native varieties, such as Manto Negro and Syrah, through a human-focused approach. Members of Esment are actively involved in making this wine, putting their creativity and passion into each bottle.
Created from a special collaboration between 4Kilos Vinícola and Esment, Gallinas & Focas stands out for its social approach to winemaking. This wine combines the characteristics of the Manto Negro grape with the fresh touch of Syrah, produced in line with quality standards that preserve Mallorcan terroir.
The name, which resulted from a brainstorming session among Esment members, captures the fun and spontaneity behind the project. The drawings of chickens and seals on the labels are also the members’ own work, making each bottle a genuine statement of inclusivity.
4Kilos winery, known for reviving the Callet grape variety and exploring the essence of Mallorca, adds a wonderful human quality to Gallinas & Focas. This Vi de la Terra Mallorca wine shows that quality and social engagement can go hand in hand.
