At Morvedra Vell estate, south of Ciutadella, an extra virgin olive oil is made that captures the authentic flavour of the island. Made from cold-extracted olive varieties such as Arbequina, Picual and Olivó, this organic oil stands out for its quality, sustainability and respect for Menorca’s biodiversity.
Morvedra produces one of the most prized olive oils in Menorca at their organic farm in Ciutadella. With olive varieties such as Arbequina, Picual and Olivó, together with wild olives (Ullastres), they obtain a pure, intensely fruity juice with a refined aroma. Harvesting takes place when the olives hit their peak ripeness, and milling is done the same day in order to preserve its properties to the maximum. The entire process is 100% organic, certified and carried out with great care: no centrifuging, no chemicals, and natural decanting using gravity. The farm works on land stewardship with the Balearic Ornithology and Nature Conservation Group (GOB), promoting biodiversity and soil regeneration. The result: olive oil of superior quality that unites the soul of Menorca’s land and sea. Each bottle encapsulates history, landscape and respect for the environment. A precious liquid with authentic flavour that’s received international recognition for its quality. Morvedra proves that sustainability can also achieve delicious flavour.
