Bodega Son Ramon: A Gem in Llubí
Located in Llubí, Mallorca, Bodega Son Ramon is a perfect example of how tradition can meet innovation. A historic estate that belongs to the Protected Geographical Indication ‘IGP Vi de la Terra de Mallorca’.
In the heart of Llubí, Mallorca, you’ll find the long-standing Bodega Son Ramon, an estate that has stayed true to its core since 1649. After the devastation caused by phylloxera at the beginning of the last century, the Ramis-Fornés family decided to bounce back in 2005 by launching an innovative project alongside renowned wine expert Josep Lluis Pérez.
Today, the 10 hectares of vineyards planted with white and red grapes produce wines of excellent quality. At Son Ramon, each wine is a masterpiece that embodies the Mallorcan terroir. The vines are trained on double cordon trellises, allowing strict control of vine health to ensure optimum production and superior quality.
Visitors can tour the old 17th-century wine cellar and discover how the most advanced techniques work in harmony with tradition to create sensational wines. ‘Vi de la Terra de Mallorca’, which protects and certifies the quality of these wines, promises a special food and wine experience, deeply connected to the land of Mallorca.
