Along the Camí Vell in Ciutadella, Es Tudons cultivates landscape, a special breed and flavour. The farm, certified organic since 2008, is committed to land stewardship, reviving the use of native breeds, and artisanal production. Their Menorcan red cow’s cheese and organic meat reflect a tradition that looks to the future.
With 177 hectares and a clear commitment to the environment, Es Tudons is a Menorcan farm where sustainability becomes flavour. There, Pep the farmer milks his red cows every day to produce an organic cheese made from raw milk, without cameras, aged naturally.
The farm also produces organic beef, lamb and pork, all from local breeds. They’re committed to a closed-loop farming model, where animal welfare and chemical-free processes make all the difference. The farm sells products in their own shop and through small retailers. Quality, origin and word of mouth have made their cheese very popular. Es Tudons has proven there’s another way of producing, caring for and tasting the Menorcan countryside.
