Els Corondà D’en Celleras: An Organic Farm With the Taste of Seasonal Produce
At Km 9.3 along the road Carretera de Sant Miquel, Els Corondà d'en Celleras grows strawberries and organic vegetables, sold directly on the farm. The farm, which also supplies the Mercat de Sa Cooperativa and local shops, is a living example of local agriculture, biodiversity and seasonal flavour in Ibiza.
Els Corondà d'en Celleras is an organic farm in Ibiza specialising in strawberries, but they also grow a wide variety of seasonal vegetables: broccoli, romanesco, leeks, lettuce, kale, cauliflower and chard. Everything is harvested daily and sold directly on the farm on Tuesday afternoons and Saturday mornings. Produce is also available at the Mercat de Sa Cooperativa in Sant Antoni every Friday from 9am to 2pm. The farm also distributes to shops on the island.
The harvest varies according to season, with mostly cabbage, celery and spinach grown in autumn and winter. The main crop is the strawberry, which is used on their logo, but what truly defines Els Corondà is environmental respect, quality fresh produce and a direct connection between land and table. With just 200 metres between the plot and the shop, it doesn’t get fresher than this.
