Sa Nostra Mel

Mel de Can Marí, Natural Sweetness from Ibiza’s Countryside

Mel de Can Marí represents the Ibizan landscape in its purest form. With the Protected Designation of Origin (DOP) Mel d'Eivissa, this honey captures the island’s diverse flora, with harvests in spring, summer and autumn. It’s made using traditional sustainable methods, guaranteeing exceptional quality. They also offer beekeeping tours, so you can learn about the life of bees and the production process of this internationally acclaimed honey.

Since 2013, Mel de Can Marí, also known as Sa Nostra Mel, has been working to protect Ibiza’s beekeeping tradition. Their beehives, located in ecological environments, produce seasonal honey. Each variety offers a unique aromatic profile, without pasteurisation processes that impact purity.

Mel de Can Marí has received multiple international awards in competitions such as the London Honey Awards and the Paris Honey Awards. Their honey is distinguished by its texture, floral aroma and balanced sweetness, properties that reflect the island’s botanical diversity.

As well as making honey, Mel de Can Marí hosts guided tours of the beehives, where visitors can learn about beekeeping and the importance of bees for biodiversity. The experience is rounded off with honey tasting in a stunning natural environment.
