Seasonal Crops at Can Puvil
Can Puvil cultivates health and tradition. This organic farm in Ibiza, located in Sant Josep de sa Talaia, works with seasonal, chemical-free produce and is committed to local varieties. Their production is certified by the Balearic Council for Organic Farming (CBPAE), and they offer direct sales twice a week, custom produce baskets and a great deal of dedication to the land.
Can Puvil is a family business based on organic farming with an Ibizan soul. On their land they grow seasonal fruit and vegetables such as kale, pumpkin, collard greens and spinach, all free of pesticides and chemical fertilisers. They also grow traditional varieties such as pebrera blanca and meló eriçó, as well as xeixa wheat to make artisanal bread.
The farm opens its gates every Tuesday and Thursday to sell directly to the public and also distributes to Ecofeixes. They offer custom hampers and rural experiences linked to local produce. In summer, they set up a sales point where people can try their freshly harvested produce. Everything that comes from the fields is grown with care, respecting the natural rhythm of the land. At Can Puvil they don’t just cultivate crops, they cultivate community, history and future.
