Accompany a young farmer, get to know his cows, participate in milking and discover the value of local milk in the rural landscape of Menorca
Live an experience that connects you with the livestock tradition of Menorca. You will accompany a farmer to learn how cattle are cared for, their feeding and handling, and how milking and milk production are carried out. You will experience the value of the local product up close and understand the origin of milk, on an island where livestock farming has been part of its history for thousands of years.
It is an experience to reconnect with the origin of an essential food. In Menorca, a land of cattle for more than 4,000 years, you will meet a young farmer and his day-to-day life with livestock. You will learn how cows are cared for, their feeding, management and welfare, and you will participate in the milking process, understanding how milk is obtained and its importance in local production. Afterwards, you will accompany the cattle to the countryside to graze and spend the night, experiencing an everyday scene of the Menorcan rural world. This experience allows us to value the livestock tradition, the constant work behind each liter of milk and the connection between landscape, animals and people. An educational, close and very human experience, which brings the visitor closer to the essence of the Menorcan countryside.
