Between Sea and Land: Premium Wine by Ojo de Ibiza
Ojo de Ibiza captures the magic of the island in every bottle, with terraced vineyards on chalky soils in northern Ibiza. Inspired by the island’s nature and mystique, this winery combines traditional winegrowing techniques with organic methods to make premium wines under the Vi de la Terra Eivissa label. Every sip recalls the sun, wind and soul of the Mediterranean.
In northern Ibiza, Ojo de Ibiza transforms traditional winemaking with its terraced vineyards at Can Tixedo and Sa Cova. Its vines grow on poor white soils, bathed by the sun and sea breeze. This creates singular wines such as ‘Terrazas del Norte’, an elegant dense red wine aged for two years in French oak, and the refreshing ‘Blanco’, made from Malvasia grown on twenty-year-old vines.
Commitment to the environment is key: organic winegrowing, hands-on production and the careful selection of varieties such as Monastrell, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. Each label is a tribute to the island’s singularity, from the vibrant rosé wine ‘Rose’ to the more complex ‘Tierra Sur’.
