Binifadet: Mediterranean Terroir in a Bottle
In the south of Menorca, Binifadet transforms the Tramuntana wind and chalky soil into wines that embody the island. Under the Vi de la Terra Illa de Menorca label, its wines reflect history, innovation and a close connection with the environment. Since 2004, Binifadet has been producing wines that celebrate Menorca's winemaking tradition. Located in Sant Lluís, the winery combines native and foreign varieties grown in tancas, which are plots protected by dry stone walls. Each plot captures the sea and breeze, providing minerality and freshness to the wine.
The ‘Binifadet’, ‘Tanca’, ‘Especiales’ and ‘Merluzo’ ranges highlight different aspects of Menorcan terroir. From gentle wines to more complex, personal creations, each label is an expression of the island.
