Silvia Pons Vanrell opens the gates to her farm every day to offer freshly picked seasonal fruit. With long opening hours and a direct relationship with buyers, what she offers is simple: natural products, grown with patience at the pace set by the land.
On her farm in Algaida, one of the municipalities with the oldest farming traditions in Mallorca, Silvia works towards the Venda Directa project, a network committed to keeping the countryside alive, protecting the landscape and promoting stable jobs. Her fruit is both food and heritage.
Produce is grown chemical-free, with the careful use of resources and support for biodiversity in the area. In every piece of fruit, you can taste the non-stop work and responsible approach to the land. Silvia preserves a way of life that’s linked to the past, but looks to the future.
