From Land to Shop: The Agromart Model
Agromart was born from a commitment to offer quality local products, fusing tradition and modernity. With more than 200 hectares of farmland in Porreres and Felanitx, they’re committed to integrated production, a sustainable, environmentally-friendly practice. In their 28 shops across Mallorca, they offer everything from fruit and vegetables to wine, cheese and organic products, guaranteeing freshness and authenticity.
Agromart was launched by two families with a long history of farming in Mallorca. Since their merger in 2010, they’ve boosted their operations on the island with a network of shops that sell local products, prioritising zero-mile, sustainable and integrated production.
Their crops include watermelons, melons, apricots, peppers and tomatoes, which supply both their shops and local restaurants. But their range goes beyond that: Mallorcan wine, Balearic cheese, meat, flour and gluten-free products with more than 2,500 references. This commitment to local production and traditional farming has earned them recognition, such as the PIMEM Business Management Model Award in 2018.
Agromart continues to grow with the aim of honouring the Balearic Islands and bringing fresh, quality products to every part of the island.
