Sa Casa Pagesa is a family farm dedicated to organic production in Mallorca. They grow fruit and vegetables, and raise local livestock in Sant Jordi and Son Sardina. Their seasonal produce, certified by the Balearic Council for Organic Farming (CBPAE), is sold directly at markets such as those in Palma and Valldemosa, guaranteeing local freshness and quality.
Antoni Feliu leads this farming venture where the land, environment and consumer are equally respected. Without using chemicals, they grow local products such as Ibizan red onions, tomatoes, courgettes, pears and melons. Produce depends on the season, and is always grown using seeds of traditional varieties.
They also raise native breeds such as the Mallorcan black pig, offering organic meat, eggs and vegetables with full traceability. Their model is based on direct sales: from the farm itself, in Palma on Tuesdays and Saturdays, in Valldemosa on Sundays and in Can Picafort on Thursdays.
With a zero-mile approach, they reduce transport needs and save energy. Sa Casa Pagesa doesn’t just grow healthy, tasty food, but also protects the agricultural biodiversity and rural expertise that defines the island.
