The Countryside Chiringuito with the Most Flavour in Mallorca
On the roadside with more than 25 years of history, Es Xiringuito de na Bel has earned a place among the most renowned local producers in Pla de Mallorca. Bel Bonnín and her family grow and sell seasonal fruit and vegetables directly without going through cold storage. All freshly harvested from the fields. All with a rustic soul.
On the road between Petra and Santa Margalida, a stone hut surrounded by boxes of melons and tomatoes marks where to stop. Es Xiringuito de na Bel isn’t just a place to buy fresh produce: it’s a symbol of authenticity. With a range including potatoes, aubergines, garlic, cucumbers and pumpkins, all produce is homegrown and seasonal. The stars of the chiringuito are Ramellet tomatoes, melons and watermelons, selected one by one at their peak ripeness. From field to box. And if the produce isn’t ready, the shop doesn't open.
Bel and her family have had ties to the land for generations. They take great care in harvesting the produce and serving their customers personally, who come from all over the island in search of real flavour. In times of rushing around and supermarkets, Es Xiringuito de na Bel stands for what should not be lost: the value of local produce and those who take care of it.
