In the heart of Menorca, S'Aranjassa is the fusion of a cheesemaking legacy that dates back to 1946, and the passion and energy of a young couple, Laura and Fel. This estate in Es Mercadal produces DOP Mahón-Menorca cheeses using raw milk from their own cows, offering semicurado and curado products that truly represent the island. Also, its guided tours and tastings offer an immersive experience of Menorca’s countryside.
S'Aranjassa is a 90-hectare estate at the bottom of Monte Toro, where Laura and Fel have breathed new life into a cheesemaking tradition that dates back to 1946. With raw milk from their Friesian cows, they produce DOP Mahón-Menorca cheeses in the varieties of semicurado (medium mature) and curado (mature), taking care of every detail of the artisan process, from milking to ageing in its new facilities.
Beyond a mere cheese factory, S'Aranjassa is an experience. They offer guided tours for visitors to explore the farm, meet the animals and learn about the cheesemaking process. The experience rounds off with a tasting of cheeses, artisan sausages, bread with tomato and typical Menorcan desserts in a stunning natural setting.
With products sold on the farm itself and in shops across Menorca and Mallorca, S'Aranjassa is committed to selling directly to its customers and ensuring close contact with its visitors. This is a place where tradition meets a younger generation eager to keep the real Menorca alive and share it with others.
