Son Cremat: Small on Production, Big on Flavour
In the Maó countryside, Son Cremat produces fresh aromatic white wines under the Vi de la Terra Illa de Menorca label. With Chardonnay and Moscatell as the main stars, their wines capture the sea breeze and unique chalky terroir. Artisan production that combines family tradition and passion for wine.
Son Cremat is a small family winery in the municipality of Maó dedicated to the artisan production of white wines. Since 2015, its Chardonnay and Moscatell labels have been appreciated for their freshness, aromatic notes and a touch of salinity that evokes the nearby Mediterranean Sea.
They also offer a rosé, a blend of Monastrell and Merlot. With only 5,000 bottles produced, the whole cultivation and winemaking process is taken care of by hand. The chalky, well-drained soil on its vineyards gives personality to its wines, while the support of a wine expert ensures their quality. The winery is currently expanding its plots, aiming to keep growing without losing its essence.
Son Cremat welcomes those who wish to learn about its history and enjoy tastings in a stunning setting. From walks through the vineyards, to helping with the grape harvest, the winery offers Menorcan hospitality together with winemaking excellence.
