The Market Lighting Up Summer Nights in Es Mercadal
Every Thursday from June to September, from 7pm to 10:30pm, the summer night market, Mercat de Nit de Es Mercadal, fills the old quarter with more than 80 stalls selling craft and food products. Among the village's cobbled streets, market-goers can discover Menorcan cheese, homemade bread, cured sausages, pottery and basketry, alongside live music and a magical atmosphere.
Located in the centre of Menorca at the foot of Monte Toro, the Mercat de Nit de Es Mercadal is one of the most famous markets on the island. Its stalls offer a carefully selected range of local products, from wine and fresh honey to olive oil, seasonal fruit and traditional pastries.
