Son Servera Celebrates the Almond Blossom Season with its Most Traditional Fair
Every year, Son Servera hosts the Fira de la Flor d'Ametller (Almond Blossom Fair), an event that pays tribute to one of Mallorca’s most famous products. In the setting of the historic country house Cases de Ca s'Hereu, the fair offers a journey through the island’s farming and food tradition, with almond samples, old machinery, local products and folk performances. A must on your itinerary to enjoy the beautiful landscape of almond trees in full bloom.
The Fira de la Flor d'Ametller is a celebration of Mallorca’s almond-growing culture and history. This event is known for its market selling local products, where fair-goers can find everything from natural cosmetics to sweets and spirits made from almonds. The fair also includes old farming machinery displays, samples of different almond varieties and workshops to learn about how they are cultivated and used in recipes.
The streets of Son Servera come alive with the sound of xeremiers (traditional bagpipes) and folk performances, while local bakeries and restaurants offer speciality almond dishes.
