Ses Terres is a family farm located in Artà, Mallorca, dedicated to organic and sustainable production. Their work revolves around traditional farming, rearing native sheep and producing preserves, hummus and olive oil. A venture that brings together history, innovation and respect for the land.
Ses Terres is the livelihood of Pedro Osuna and his family, on a farm that’s been cultivating roots since the 18th century. Today, they produce seasonal fruit and vegetables on two hectares of farmland, with local varieties such as ramallet tomatoes, Mallorcan peppers and figs, and citrus trees for their homemade jams. The farm also has a flock of Lacaune and Mallorquina sheep, which help to maintain a balanced ecosystem, and are used to produce organic meat distributed throughout the farmers’ cooperative.
With 500 olive trees of varieties such as Arbequina and Koroneiki, they produce extra virgin olive oil. They also use raw ingredients to create hummus, spicy sauces and vegetable creams, all under the ‘km0’ (zero-mile) philosophy. Ses Terres is also a space for training, WWOOFing and connecting with the land. Here, the countryside not only feeds, it teaches, heals and unites generations.
