Ous de Ca Nostra began in Sencelles as a family business and a pioneer in organic production. With more than 3,000 free-range hens, this Mallorcan eco-farm is committed to extensive, sustainable, local poultry farming. The result: fresh eggs produced with patience, collected and distributed every day, with authentic flavour and a real commitment.
Raised stress-free at the sun’s pace, Ous de Ca Nostra’s ‘calm’ hens, as they call them, enjoy a natural setting where they’re fed with organic feed and what they find in the soil: insects, roots and plants. A way of producing without taking shortcuts, respecting nature’s cycles and animal welfare.
Behind the business are Alfons Subirana and his son, who also led the recovery of a large field of almond trees and other regenerative farming initiatives at Sa Cova d'Ayreflor farm. Production is certified by the Balearic Council for Organic Farming (CBPAE) and available in local markets and supermarkets such as Eroski and Carrefour. Each egg is collected, packed and distributed the same day. No go-betweens, no rush. Only freshness, local produce and a deep commitment to the land and the future of food in Mallorca.
