For more than 150 years, Limsa has been keeping Mallorca's liqueur tradition alive. Specialising in the production of ‘IGP Palo de Mallorca’ with a Protected Geographical Indication, this distillery pairs generations of expertise with the best raw ingredients. Since its beginnings in Marratxí, its range has grown to include iconic liqueurs such as Herbes de Mallorca, brandy and rum, with guaranteed artisanal quality.
Limsa is a company that brings together different liqueur-making families on the island, with a solid reputation as a leader in the production of traditional liqueurs. Its products include ‘IPG Palo de Mallorca’, a dark aromatic liqueur dating back to the 17th century when it was used as a medicinal remedy; today, it is a staple aperitif. Its combination of cinchona, gentian, caramelised sugar and alcohol offers a complex yet balanced flavour.
As well as Palo, Limsa makes Herbes de Mallorca, Cremadillo de Caña, rum and spirits using recipes that go back generations. Its distilled cane spirits, a tradition stemming from trade with the former colonies, include the iconic Ron Amazona and the potent Caña Rossa 65.
