Es Rafal, located in Banyalbufar, is a Mallorcan farm that produces 100% organic extra virgin olive oil in Mallorca. This single varietal, made from the Mallorquina olive, stands out for its smoothness, sweetness and ripe almond flavour.
Es Rafal is a beauty spot in the Serra de Tramuntana, where nature and tradition come together to create high quality products. Their olive oil, certified organic, is the perfect addition to typical Mallorcan dishes such as pamboli (bread and olive oil). The Mallorquina olive provides a high content of unsaturated fatty acids, making it stand out from other oil.
The olives are harvested earlier in Mallorca than in other regions, which, combined with the local varieties, results in oil with unique organoleptic properties. The island’s climate leads to a sweet, mild oil when the olives are in veraison, and a fruity, spicy oil when harvested green. Es Rafal offers oil in an idyllic setting in Banyalbufar, promoting a circular economy and respect for the environment.
