Ecolander Mallorca, Cultivation With a Conscience and No Go-Betweens
Ecolander Mallorca is a certified organic farm on the island, specialising in seasonal fruit and vegetables. Every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at their greenhouse, you can buy freshly harvested produce straight from the farm, with friendly service and a clear commitment to responsible farming.
At Ecolander Mallorca, each harvest reflects a commitment to the environment and consumer health. Lander, the founder, grows his food using 100% organic methods, certified by the Balearic Council for Organic Farming (CBPAE). The farm is open three days a week to offer customers direct contact with the producer.
As well as fresh vegetables and organic eggs, there’s also a greenhouse run according to a philosophy of respect for natural cycles and biodiversity. Buying their products means supporting the local circular economy. Looking after the environment is a core value of the farm, which aims to inspire new farmers to go for more sustainable models.
Every plant, every flower and every chat in the greenhouse underpins the value of living agriculture. Ecolander is also a place where community, know-how and respect for the land are cultivated.
