Since 1945, Crisol has been making Sobrassada de Mallorca using traditional methods passed down from generation to generation. With a Protected Geographical Indication (IGP), it achieves a cured sausage made using selected meat, Tap de Cortí paprika and a meticulous curing process. Its commitment to quality ensures products free from additives or allergens, maintaining the authenticity of this iconic delicacy.
Crisol keeps the soul of sobrassada alive with varieties such as traditional, black label and native black pork. It is cured from three to five months, giving it a smooth texture and intense flavour. It also makes a sobrassada spread, a fresh product that captures the Mallorca’s butchery traditions.
As well as sobrassada, the company makes cooked sausages such as camaiot, botifarró and varia, all of which are free of preservatives and colourings. Its commitment to quality has led its certification under the IFS Food standard, guaranteeing food safety and traceability in each product.
Located in Consell, Crisol fuses tradition with modernity, upholding the original recipe that turned sobrassada into a symbol of Mallorcan cuisine.
