Sobrassada and Cheese from Ibiza by the Companatge Brand
Companatge is a family business dedicated to making sobrassada, cheese and traditional sausages from Ibiza. Their commitment to quality is reflected in small-scale livestock farming and an artisanal production process that maintains the authentic flavour of the island. They’ve even made it to TV, making waves on programmes such as TVE’s Aquí la Tierra.
Since 1990, Companatge has been honouring Ibizan products through artisanal production based on traditional recipes. Their sausages and cheese come from raw ingredients obtained from their own farms, where pigs, sheep and goats feed on natural grain. The rustic Can Caus sobrassada and cheese with oregano and thyme are some of its most popular products, influenced by the island’s climate and humidity.
Beyond production, Companatge has a restaurant, Can Caus, where you can enjoy grilled meats and typical Ibizan dishes containing their products. The complex includes a supermarket where you can buy their products directly and a space that celebrates local culinary culture. A combination of tradition, sustainability and quality has made Companatge a leader in Ibizan cuisine.
