Herbes Eivissenques by Can Rich: Ibiza's Herbal Soul
Herbes Eivissenques by Can Rich is a reflection of Ibiza's Mediterranean landscape. This liqueur with a Protected Geographical Indication (IPG) is made traditionally with a careful selection of 17 local aromatic plants, following a centuries-old recipe. Can Rich has been a pioneer in the organic production of wines and distillate spirits on the island, combining tradition with modernity to preserve the essence of its terroir.
In Ibiza, the Can Rich de Buscastell estate produces Herbes Eivissenques liqueur using an artisanal process that keeps the tradition of past generations alive. The recipe contains fennel, thyme, rosemary, lemon verbena and juniper, among other Mediterranean plants, resulting in a liqueur with a deep, balanced flavour. Its intense amber colour and aromatic profile have earned it international recognition, including a bronze medal at the Hong Kong Wine & Spirits Competition.
Can Rich is not only committed to making excellent distillate spirits, but also stands out for organic production of wine, sparkling wines, extra virgin olive oil and salts from Ibiza. Located in a prime setting, its winery offers tours so that visitors can discover the winemaking process and taste products that pay homage to the island’s rich winemaking heritage.
