The Ibiza of yesteryear is a place where life used to revolve around agriculture, livestock and fishing. Salt flats and unspoilt coves were the setting for a subsistence economy that characterised the lives of the Ibizan people. Today's organic farms offer a glimpse of this past, where you can discover the flavours of the Ibizan countryside.
At Can Musón, founded in 2009 by María Marí, you can reconnect with nature. Both young and old can enjoy losing themselves in idyllic surroundings, interact with native animals and explore the organic crop fields. From feeding sheep to tasting traditional products such as sobrassada sausage and fresh cheese, the whole experience pays homage to ancestral traditions and a deep bond with the land.
Terramasia has 56 hectares in Santa Eulària dedicated to organic farming. Here, visitors can see biodynamic crop production firsthand and collect baskets of freshly picked produce. The range of colours and flavours, from red carrots to pink cauliflower, reflects a commitment to sustainability and conscious farming that respects the natural richness of Ibiza’s soil.
