The Mercat Vell is a place brimming with life and history. It’s located in the centre of Plaça de la Constitució, where farmers used to sell their produce in the city. Today, the market also offers local produce, especially fruit and vegetables. It’s also worth trying the olive, caper and chilli pepper sandwiches, made using the same traditional recipe for more than fifty years.
