Discover how to preserve olives in a traditional way to enjoy them at home, following inherited techniques

At the headquarters of the agricultural cooperative of Sóller, with more than one hundred and twenty-five years of history, Mallorcan olives are received, harvested by hand by farmers from the Serra de Tramuntana. This unique environment allows you to get to know a product linked to the territory, tradition and know-how passed down from generation to generation.

In this workshop you will learn how to split olives and prepare them using aromatic herbs and condiments that enhance their flavor. It shows step by step how to make brine in a traditional way, respecting techniques passed down for generations. In addition, you will learn about the origin of the olives and their process from harvesting to preparation. Each participant makes their own preserve and takes it home, living a practical experience linked to the local culture.
