Located in the picturesque town of Petra, in Pla de Mallorca, the Galmés i Ferrer winery is a living testimony to a rich winemaking heritage dating back to the 1930s. This family winery has evolved over generations, fusing Mallorcan traditions with modern winemaking methods. Today, headed by Arnau Galmés Ferrer, the winery has undergone significant modernisation and expansion to offer a variety of wines that reflect the Galmés family’s passion and hard work.
The Galmés i Ferrer winery is a leader in wine production in Mallorca, with a history dating back to 1930. Founded by the family’s grandfather, the winery started out by producing wine on a casual basis.
It was Guillem Galmés Salas who, in the next generation, devoted himself fully to winegrowing, setting up a network of suppliers in the Pla region. The wine belongs to the Protected Designation ‘Vi de la Terra de Mallorca’.
With the arrival of Arnau Galmés Ferrer, the current winemaker and owner, the winery not only continued its legacy, but also embraced modernisation. In the 2000s, significant renovations were made to the facilities, allowing for the expansion and diversification of its wine production.
Each bottle of Bodega Galmés i Ferrer tells a story of passion and tradition. The wines produced here are a tribute to age-old techniques, combined with contemporary innovation.
