Can Ramis: 150 Years Making Wine with Identity
Founded in 1870, Celler Can Ramis is a family winery that has evolved from generation to generation. Located in Sencelles, and part of the DO Binissalem label, it combines traditional methods, such as the use of traditional barrels called botes congrenyades, with modern techniques to produce wines that excel for their quality and authenticity.
For more than 150 years, Can Ramis has been keeping Mallorca's wine tradition alive. Its vineyards, where local varieties such as Manto Negro and Prensal Blanc reign, produce wines such as ‘Llacó7 Crianza’ and ‘Serral Rosat’, which reflect the character of DO Binissalem.
Respect for the past can be seen in the house's original cistern, now converted into a wine cellar, and the use of the old barrels. The winery also welcomes the modernisation of its facilities, resulting in singular, balanced wines with a distinct personality.
