Mallorca’s Roots in Every Bottle of Ca'n Verdura
Ca'n Verdura goes back six generations in Binissalem, the winegrowing heart of Mallorca. This family winery has dedicated itself to making wines with native varieties such as Manto Negro, Callet and Prensal Blanc, going against the modern trend of using foreign grapes. Since its beginnings in 2010, Ca'n Verdura has dedicated itself to preserving the essence and character of its wines, adapting to the demands of each vintage.
The origins of Ca'n Verdura can be found in the winemaking history of Binissalem. The winery was founded in 2010 using Manto Negro from the family estate, with a commitment to high-quality local varieties.
In 2012, they opened their own winery in an old garage in the centre of Binissalem, embarking on a journey to produce wines that honour the diversity of the region. Over the years, Ca'n Verdura has successfully evolved while maintaining the authenticity of its wines. Having initially produced 700 bottles, the winery has grown and adapted to the demands of each vintage, maintaining its traditions and family character.
Their wines, which belong to ‘DOP Binissalem’ and ‘Vi de la Terra Mallorca’, are the result of their commitment to local winegrowing practices and innovation.
