Conscious Produce from the Heart of Formentera
In the sunny fields of Sant Francesc Xavier, Formatierra puts great care and dedication into growing organic fruit and vegetables. More than just farmers, they’re guardians of the land. Their goal: to feed the island while looking after the environment, health and farming traditions in Formentera. Here, all produce is the result of a commitment to sustainability, with fresh, local flavour.
Formatierra is a small community of organic farmers who work the land with passion. On their farm in Sant Francesc Xavier, they grow crops using techniques that respect the environment, offering the island healthier, cleaner and closer food. Chard, artichokes, peppers, tomatoes, courgettes, aubergines, basil... the produce changes according to season, but always arrives fresh from the fields.
Their philosophy isn’t just about producing, but about caring: for the environment, for biodiversity and for people. Each hamper contains a piece of Formentera, where the land is still sacred and farming is an act of love. They also collaborate with local initiatives to promote a fair food network, with more and more locals relying on their produce to put real, healthy food on the table. Formatierra represents the future of the countryside: ecological, sustainable and worked by hand.
