Fira del Moll i la Tardor: The Taste of the Sea in the Heart of Ibiza

Every year, the Port of Ibiza becomes the heart of delicious food with the Fira del Moll i la Tardor, an event that celebrates seasonal fish with tastings, cooking demos and activities for the whole family. The day starts with the fish arriving into the port, announced with the traditional brulada de corn (conch blowing), followed by ball pagès folk dance performances and a market with tapas made by renowned chefs. A place where food, culture and music come together in a festive atmosphere.

The Fira del Moll i la Tardor is one of the most popular food events during Autumn in Ibiza. Organised in collaboration with Ibiza Town Council, the Fishermen’s Guild and Peix Nostrum, the fair showcases local fish through free tastings, workshops and recipes made by local and international chefs.

Fair-goers can enjoy cooking demos featuring traditional and contemporary dishes with fish such as salmonete (red mullet), rotja (scorpionfish) and gallo de San Pedro (John Dory). The event also features a craft market, children’s activities and music performances to liven up the day.

Access is made easy with available car parks and free boat transport from Talamanca. Through a mix of tradition and creativity, the Fira del Moll i la Tardor has become one of the best places to discover the flavours of the sea in Ibiza.
