An Unforgettable Day in Sa Foradada

Get ready to enjoy a swim and a paella cooked over a wood fire in an absolutely stunning corner of the Mediterranean.

Sa Foradada, accessible on foot or by boat, is one of the most iconic destinations on the Balearic coast. With its unique holey rocks and a restaurant that offers a special experience, this is the perfect place to enjoy both nature and good food in the impressive Tramuntana mountains.

The legendary Sa Foradada knows no roads. There are only two ways to get there: walking or sailing. A range of companies offer the chance to make the journey from Puerto de Sóller on an unforgettable voyage. The journey offers breathtaking scenery, over crystal clear waters and alongside the imposing cliffs of the Tramuntana mountains. Walking there means taking a lovely, beautiful path downhill, although be aware that returning uphill will be a little more difficult, especially in summer.

When you reach Sa Foradada, the best thing to do is take a refreshing dip in the sea. This peninsula of about 400 metres forms a small open harbour to the south. After drying off, there's nothing better than climbing the steps leading to a picturesque restaurant.

Sa Foradada is known for its paellas cooked over a wood fire with local ingredients, a true delight for the taste buds. You must book in advance, as demand is always high.

The view from the restaurant's terraces looks over the breathtaking Mediterranean Sea and the north coast of Mallorca, creating the perfect backdrop for a meal like no other.
