The Fira de sa Patata Eivissenca is a gastronomic and cultural event that pays tribute to the local potato, considered by many to be the queen of the Ibizan orchard. Coinciding with the start of the harvest, the fair brings together tastings, creative tapas, workshops and popular activities in a festive atmosphere. A day designed for all audiences that highlights local produce, traditional cuisine and rural life in Ibiza.
The Fira de sa Patata Eivissenca is a celebration of local product that transforms San José into a great gastronomic and cultural meeting point. Coinciding with the start of the harvesting season, this fair highlights the value of the Ibizan potato through tastings, a creative tapas competition prepared by local establishments and activities for all audiences. During the day, gastronomic workshops are organized, talks on cooking of use and nutritional value, children's proposals and samples of local varieties. The festive atmosphere is completed with live music, awards ceremony and games for the little ones. An experience that unites tradition, flavour and community, celebrating Ibiza's rural identity and the prominence of one of its most emblematic products.
